I benefit so much from giving myself annual “assignments” such as my Chinese Zodiac project. Last year I began what I hope to be a longstanding tradition of creating Halloween themed artwork. It’s so helpful to look back to where I was a year ago and truly analyze my progress.

This image itself was inspired by the Victorian fascination with the occult and the ancient Celtic origins of Halloween.
