This year is my fourth year doing a Chinese Zodiac painting. It was a real struggle getting this one to work, very mentally draining and time consuming. It was all about striking the balance between the Chinese symbolism and the very ingrained Western goat/sheep figures such as Aries. I ultimately feel that I made it work.
